Upon receipt of your 2008 membership, you will be welcomed to the Chamber of Commerce on the Reader Board for 1 week. Your businesses anniversary will also be displayed (please see application form), which is only available to our Members, as well as a Christmas Greeting in the month of December.
The Kindersley Chamber of Commerce has a montly draw for the Business of the Month. If your business wins you receive a certificiate, and the information will be displayed on the reader board through out that month.
The Chamber has been organizing Trade Show for over 20 years. This is a great opportunity for you & your business; regardless of size! Dates for the 2008 show are June 12th & 13th, the application will be available under the application button by early February.
Goose Festival is an event that has been going on for over 30 years! This 3-4 day event takes place at the end of September. (check Chamber news for exact dates) This event is a way for the business community to say thank you to everyone that continues to shop local and support this community. Events such as the Goose Festival Parade (with over 80 entries in 2005), The Horse Pull, "Goose Plucking" "Potato Peeling" "Go Carts" "Apollo Jump Rides" live bands, performances, food, and much much more!
The Winter Wonderland was started in 2004, and was a huge success! With events going on through out the community, the day commining to an end with the Parade of Lights (around 7pm). For more information, please see Chamber News. Winter Wonderland took place December 6th, 2007. Thank you to all who participated in the Parade and various events that day. We look forward seeing you all out again next year!
